Oshkosh, McNeilus, London, CON-E-CO and IMT Feature Integrated Display at World Of Concrete

OSHKOSH, WIS. (January 23, 2007) – Oshkosh Corporation and its subsidiaries in the commercial concrete placement industry will exhibit together at the World of Concrete, January 23-26, in Las Vegas. The exhibit will include products from Oshkosh, McNeilus Companies, London Machinery and IMT in Booth C-6869. Another Oshkosh subsidiary, CON-E-CO, will display across the aisle in booth C-7289.

“With the addition of IMT service and support vehicles to our family of brands, we now provide a broad, integrated range of products and services that help our customers enhance productivity, performance and safety,” said Mike Wuest, president of McNeilus Companies. “This includes everything from industry leading batch plants and mixer trucks, to replacement parts and service and maintenance vehicles.”

Included in this expansive display are the following products and services:

The Side Roll Protection System now available on the Oshkosh® S-Series™ forward placement mixer truck is featured in a demonstration of the industry’s first side curtain airbag-based system that protects the driver in the event of a rollover accident. The Side Roll Protection System uses a roll sensor to detect a rollover by monitoring the vehicle’s roll angle and rate, and then triggers safety devices in a pre-programmed sequence. The system is one key component of a comprehensive Safety @ 360ºinitiative to enhance safety.

McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing of Dodge Center, Minn., is North America’s leading manufacturer of mixer trucks, and set the standard for strength, reliability and productivity. McNeilus will be represented with three mixer trucks on display, including two Standard and one Bridgemaster® model. Two of the trucks feature the Revolution® composite drum technology, which is a full 2,000 pounds lighter than a comparable steel drum, providing an extra one-half cubic yard of legal payload. The McNeilus® mixers also feature lighter weight and more reliable water tanks and hydraulic systems that together save an additional 420 pounds of weight without sacrificing strength. In addition, the updated Bridgemaster load distribution tag axle is now 65 pounds lighter.

London Machinery of London, Ontario, is the Canadian leader in concrete mixers. The London® Standard mixer on display features dual front axles, 12 cubic yard drum capacity and the Trimble® DriveSafe™ system. London Machinery also serves as the sole source in Canada for sales and service of the Oshkosh S-Series mixer trucks, McNeilus Revolution composite drums, and CON-E-CO batch plants in Canada.

Iowa Mold Tooling Company (IMT) of Garner, Iowa joined the Oshkosh family in 2006. IMT is the leading manufacturer and supplier of service vehicles, cranes, hydraulic loaders and air compressors. A Dominator® field service vehicle is on display in the booth.

Concrete Equipment Company (CON-E-CO) of Blair, Neb., engineers, manufactures and supports North America's leading line of portable and stationary batch plants. On display is the LO-PRO® 427 batch plant featuring self-erecting and self-leveling hydraulic cylinders, and a blending cement batcher with a metered discharge rate and 180º truck access.

“Our product lines, from batching to delivery at the job site to service and support vehicles, provide customers with a roadmap to better performance and profitability,” said Wuest. “Concrete placement is a demanding business, and our equipment and people are there to support their needs.”
